Data Digitizing and Compilation

Converting your existing printed maps to GIS format is often an extremely demanding and intimidating process. If mishandled, it can greatly delay the GIS implementation process. We have a year-long experience in the manual digitization of electric and gas networks, as well as the compilation of varied data sources into a unified GIS database. We did data digitization and compilation for Polish, French and Czech gas and electricity distribution companies.

Data Migration

We took part in many data migration projects, which helped us develop a set of processing standards meant to minimize data corruption. Your users will be able to continue their work right after the data migration is completed. One of many projects we completed is the data migration of NRM Dimensioning objects to another dimensioning data model.

Custom Data Translation

Our specialty is GIS file translations between digital spatial formats. We develop translators and provide custom file translation services for offbeat and outdated graphic and attribute formats. One of our biggest achievements is data translation for a French electricity distribution company (from STAR-APIC format to Smallworld database).

Spatial Data Conversion

We convert your existing CAD data to GIS format. We have experience working with dedicated tools created by GE, such as DXF Translator or Spatial Object Managers, as well as other ETL-class tools, such as SafeSoftware FME. We converted DWG, DGN, and DXF files from almost 70 Polish geodesy and cartography authorities using FME scripts.

Data Validation and Correction

Our state-of-the-art processing eliminates typical topology errors such as unmatched intersections, unsnapped lines, duplicated elements and more. We did data validation and correction for Swiss telecom and Polish gas company.
